read
ing an article on the Chela Foam Arch System in the National Rail Press they felt that this could be the answer to their problem. Chela Foam Archeshave provided Docklands Light Railway with a much improved clean and, naturally, they are highly delighted with this.

chem
ical
to the exterior of rolling
stock
. Tr

y the cleaning product is applied to the outside surface of the train by

nozzles and agitated by brushes as the train enters the
auto
matic brush wash equipment. By applying detergent as a foam, and eliminating the agitation at this stage of the cleaning process, the chemical has t
ime
to work before the train enters the rinse cycle. At this stage the soiled surface is agitated and rinsed in the one operation. This provides a better standard of clean whilst reducing brush wear and paint damage.
