CHELA LTD SPONSORS YOUTH SHORT MAT BOWLS TEAM

Enfield company Chela Ltd sponsors Youth Short Mat Bowls Team
Chela Ltd, a locally basedEnfield manufacturing company, has sponsored a local youth short mat bowls team.
Chela Ltd manufacture cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals for the rail industry. Chela Ltd are an innovative company who are interested in helping young people. Sales Director, Mr Steve Milton found out about the Hainault Short Mat Bowls Team through a conversation with Mr Fred Shipwright. Fred has helped to coach the youth team for 3 years.
Mr Steve Milton informed his colleagues about the team and they all decided that they would like to donate some team shirts so that they could have their own identity and to raise their profile.
All of the team members play for the Essex Juniors and are aged from six to sixteen years. Five members of the team play for the Essex Seniors team and five of the team play for
England ! Team member Anthony Fautley from Hainault won England Under 18 Championship in 2003.
Hainault Short Mat Bowls team meet on Thursdays from 7pm-9.30pm at Hainault Forest Community Centre. Each session is £1. For more information, contact Kay Clark on 0208 924 5982.
